Lunchtime

To encourage a varied, healthy and nutritious diet we have chosen the option of vegetarian meals (with a possibility of vegan, dairy free, nut free, egg free and gluten free). Children will learn the importance of allowing time to eat and digest and sharing this convivial moment. Healthy eating is linked to greater self esteem, better sleep and increased learning.

Our Montessori school has a Snoëzelen room. The room provides a fun, recreational and multi-sensory, environment for activities that enhance cognitive, sensory, social, emotional and physical development through the use of smell, touch, sound, color, and light.

Providing the space, time and access to enjoy sensations in a safe, comfortable environment promotes greater self-confidence, a feeling of belonging, trust and the ability to relax.

Bilingualism

Our school is bilingual English and French. Language is separated by person, 1 person = 1 language.

The effects of bilingualism can help improve a child’s educational development, cognitive functions, social skills, literacy, and emotional skills that have positive effects for many years to come.

Being bilingual also exposes an individual to diverse customs, ideas, and perspectives from different cultures. It allows immersive and authentic experiences.

Speaking a second language can provide more job opportunities as some international offices consider bilingualism a high priority.
